Andrew Hayes Trophy

The Andrew Hayes Award was started in memory of Andrew Hayes a former parent and committee member.  It was decided to offer the award to the best club person. It was because Andrew would help out with everything and anything that needed to be done, He would volunteer to do it and was happy doing it. He did anything from taking kids to the ground, to organising car rallies and trivia nights and anything from the little to the big. He was really passionate about all kids participating in sport and was really actively dedicated to this part of the Club's vision. His wife Robyn, also a life member of the club, said she thinks his commitment was because he was not an outstanding sportsperson as a kid.

The Award is intended to go to who a great contributor to the club and is not necessarily awarded annually but when there is someone who deserves this recognition.
